Participation at convention FARETE 2017-2018

September 2017-2018 – In the period 2017-2018 OCAM Ltd has participated in FARETE convention, an event organized by Confindustria Emilia Area Centro, dedicated to companies and which took place at BolognaFiere. In this year’s edition, the event took place for the first time in three pavilions and involved many companies that had the opportunity to meet, develop relationships and business opportunities, as well as participate in numerous meetings of deepening.

“Steel for the construction, security, and aesthetic finish”
At the headquarters of the Engineers Order of the Province of Salerno and organized by NORDZINC Corp. and OCAM Ltd, under the auspices of the “Fondazione Promozione Acciaio”, the conference with free participation, addressed the following topics: the seismic design of steel structures, protection treatments (hot-dip galvanizing and painting), the design of the connections for seismic-resistant structures, rules and new technologies that regulate metal construction. The attendance was large, there were points of comparison and has been of great interest the involvement of Professors Piluso and Rizzano.

Patent for industrial invention

October 4, 2011 – The Ministry of Economic Development released to OCAM Ltd the patent “Method for changing cross sections of pipes, shapes and similar,” No. 0001378798.

With this patent OCAM Ltd completes the process started with the New Hospital of Mestre (Venice), for the realization of elliptical section pipes, obtained from a commercial pipes of circular section. The difficulties of the development of such procedure, can be estimated by visiting the interior of the “sail”.
